TUB PLACEMENT

For proper Hot tub placement there are a few things to keep in mind. Overall, you are creating a private oasis where you can soak in peace and quiet. We have found that it's best to place your hot tub slightly off center in your yard within 10-15 feet of whatever door to your house you'll use most frequently when you're going to or leaving your hot tub. Keep in mind, the further away the hot tub is from your house, the less wind protection you have.

In any case you will need a level support system for your hot tub. The best way to do this is by pouring a concrete pad, using paving stones to make a pad. Using 4x4 lumber for the base will work as well. Hot tubs can be placed on sturdy decks, with foundations. You deck will need to be able to support 120 pounds per square foot.

Consider a Gazebo to provide a more intimate setting for you spa. Polar Spas Redwood Gazebos are a great way to block out the elements and give you the extra privacy you may be looking for.
